Day 1
Today you will fly to sun drenched Malta. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to the wonderful 4 star Riviera Resort & Spa Hotel. The Riviera Resort & Spa is situated in one of the most picturesque and charming areas in the north of Malta, just across the channel from the Islands of Gozo and Comino. The Resort enjoys a quiet and relaxing location, immersed in pristine countryside and boasting unspoilt shoreline and sea.
Day 2
For relaxation and pampering, the Elysium Spa, complete with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, fitness room, squash court, sauna, and other hydrotherapy facilities, offers individual treatments and special Spa packages.
Day 3
Sport and leisure facilities include two pools, children's pool, Short mat bowls (pre booking on request) diving centre and water sports in summer. The Resort's picturesque sandy Hola Beach is located 100m away and offers beach facilities and bar service in peak season.
Day 4
The Riviera Resort & Spa's stylish lounges, bars and restaurants, and open-air terraces, offer ample opportunity to savour our Mediterranean Cuisine and the romantic seaside atmosphere.
Day 5
A public bus service connects the Resort to all major towns. Mellieha Bay, the Island's largest sandy beach, and Gozo Ferry terminal are 1km away and boats to Blue Lagoon depart from the pier in front of the Resort in Summer.
Day 6
All the outlets are elegantly furnished each with an individual original finishing and enjoy magnificent sea views with the Islands of Comino and Gozo as a backdrop.
Day 7
Overlooking Marfa Bay, the Pizzissima is a casual diner with a relaxed and comfortable design and furnishings serving Pizza, Pasta and Salads. Open daily in the summer months and during the weekends in the Winter season.
Day 8
Today you will be transferred to the port of Malta La Valletta where you will embark Costa Concordia

Palermo
Strategically placed between Europe and Africa, the island of Sicily has for centuries been a focus of military and commercial activity. And the city of Palermo is still today a fascinating centre of culture and enterprise. The architecture and design of Palermo reflects this complex history, producing a distinctive style and atmosphere. The most interesting examples of Norman architecture are the palace in Piazza della Vittoria, with the renowned 12th Century Palatine Chapel dedicated to the apostles Peter and Paul.

Civitavecchia
Civitavecchia is the gateway to all the magnificence of the ancient city of Rome. Whether it's the Forum, the Sistine Chapel, the Pantheon or St. Peter's Basilica that sparks your interest and intellect, Rome is home to a lifetime's worth of historical, architectural and spiritual sites. Depending on traffic, the drive from Civitavecchia to Rome takes approximately an hour and a half.

One of the most celebrated former inhabitants of Savona was the navigator Christopher Columbus, who farmed land in the area while chronicling his journeys. 'Columbus's house', a cottage situated in the Savona hills, lay between vegetable crops and fruit trees. It is just one of many residences in Liguria associated with Columbus. Savona is the most important city on the west coast of Italy, within reach of the seaside resorts of Alassio, Loano and Varazze.

The city is a very rich commercial centre, where industrial operations crucial to the Spanish economy take place. In fact, Catalans have always considered their region unique compared with the other Spanish regions and we can find its roots in the power exercised by Barcelona for four hundred years at least on Spanish monarchy and on European commercial events.

Tunis, with 700,000 inhabitants is the capital of the Tunisian Republic and the political and economic centre of the country. The port and shipyard centre are among the most active in Africa. The city centre is curiously situated in the internal part of the coast, approximately 10 kilometres from the sea at the east end side of a lagoon one- to two-metre deep.
